Mission

Native is passionate about helping end poverty and supporting environmentally sustainable practices in global coffee producing communities (many which are largely impoverished) through working with coffee roasters and farmers to increase quality and therefore the price we pay for coffee. Native pays 3-4x the set commodity price for coffee it sources from all of its roaster. This enables a sizable impact on coffee farmers’ income, the sustainability of coffee, and stimulated local economies globally.
 

Coffee Perspective

Curated Craft Coffee:
Each month we taste dozens of coffees from roasters around the world -- searching for the sweetest, most unique, and complex coffees we can find. We are looking for those wild coffees that blow us away and remind us why we fell in love with coffee in the first place.

Each coffee we serve on our bar has been selected for its extraordinary sweetness. This is something we believe the passionate and average coffee drinker alike will notice and appreciate in their coffee – black.
Top Shelf
Much like whiskey or wine, coffee has different levels of quality and price points. We have developed relationships with global roasters who are working directly with coffee farmers who are producing some of the most exciting tasting coffees in the world. These coffees are highlighted on our 'Top Shelf' menu and make us excited to show up every morning – to drink ourselves and share with others.

Native originated primarily as a creative outlet that we could pour ourselves into and quickly became a space for creatives to be inspired, collaborate, and make beautiful things.

A person’s story is uniquely written from where they come from and shaped by where they choose to go. At its foundation, Native is about telling and appreciating those stories, connecting with people through creative expression, and challenging ourselves to live out each day, inspired.

 
 

Ridiculously Good.

Native is based on this idea to live in a constant state of inspiration and passion. Not just to create something good enough to pass, but to keep creating. We believe in the ridiculous. Ridiculously good coffee and ridiculously good design. The focus should never be solely on making money, but rather on nurturing passion and letting that passion fuel creativity; where everything that you do is done…well, Ridiculously Good.
